Personal Defense and Self - Reliance
“Every battle is won, before it is fought.” - Sun Tsu
“What you ignore…you empower.” - Unknown
“Safely Home” is a five-step process to Personal Defence and Self-Reliance. These strategies and situational awareness training sessions were developed to meet the needs of all ages. Our loved ones benefit from these informational, proactive and reactive training programs; in an environment that’s supportive, entertaining and inspiring. Participants will engage in real life scenarios and have a chance to develop a plan, use the skill sets they’ve learned, while instilling confidence and enhancing instincts to lessen the risks and potentially avoid becoming a victim whenever possible.
Just some of what participants will learn:
- The Five D’s to Safety, Deter, Detect, Deny, Delay and Defend!
- How to recognise and avoid dangerous situations
- Observation and Situational Awareness skills.
- Intuition, instincts, trusting your gut feeling and why we have them.
- F.E.A.R.™, how to make it work for you.
- Home alone, strategies for children and adults.
- People we don’t know, how can they help and who to approach when needed.
- Inappropriate behaviour, inappropriate touch.
- Mental toughness, Visualization.
- Escaping wrist, arm and neck choke holds.
- Effective basic self-defence strikes and kicks.
- Physical and verbal hands-on scenarios will be conducted. (Participation encouraged)
