The Cardel Rec South Complex is a unique and exciting project that brings together key community organizations in the development of a recreation, education, and library facility for the community. Located in the Shawnessy Town Centre, the complex primarily serves Calgarians residing south of Fish Creek Provincial Park.

The facility currently includes a Catholic senior high school, a public library, four ice arenas, community gymnasium, the Shawnessy YMCA , Booster Juice, Panther Sports Medicine and Blades Skate Sharpening.

Having all of the various facilities "under one roof" allows one-stop shopping for all your recreation, education and library needs. It is a huge leap forward in bringing together agencies that serve the same community and have the same goals for community development.
